It’s a no-brainer that the game of hiring is indeed a tough
one! It all begins and sustains with the skilled resources that one hires for
Business.
Recruiting can often be a hard and drawn-out process, and
choosing the ideal candidate for a role can be a challenge.
While it is
imperative to have basic skills and education required for the position,
essentially it is having the RIGHT
ATTITUDE that wins hands down while selecting a candidate.
As Robert
Kuok puts it “When I hire people I look for Great Attitude. I don’t look for an
MBA or PHD.”
Every employee is going to have to “learn into” any job they
are hired for. But it is their attitude which is constant and helps in
making it a successful hire.
While an interview is an array of questions posed to the
potential candidate, it really boils down to asking the right interview questions to gauge if the candidate has
the right attributes needed to adapt & grow.
We at MRCC take pride in looking at hiring through a whole
new perspective which gives us an energetic & durable workforce! And here’s
the trick to it;
1) Gauging how Adaptive is the
candidate?
Since change is the only constant thing in most
organizational systems, the hire should be someone who is highly adaptable to
changes in the work environment. Adaptability is the capacity to take on new
roles and embrace new ways of thinking that are critical during various changes
